Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Tekrawab (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://tekrawab.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our Site, submit an inquiry form, or contact us regarding our WordPress system design, development, and automation services.

By using this Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Who We Are and Our Legal Role

Tekrawab is a WordPress systems agency providing website design, development, and automation services for service-based businesses. Our website address is https://tekrawab.com.

Our Legal Role

  • Data Controller for This Site: When you visit, submit forms, or interact directly with tekrawab.com, Tekrawab acts as the Data Controller responsible for handling your personal information.
  • Data Processor for Client Websites: We design, build, and maintain digital infrastructure (such as booking calendars, CRM integrations, contact forms, review display systems, private community areas, and e-commerce features) for our clients. For any data collected on our clients’ websites, our clients act as the Data Controllers. Tekrawab acts strictly as a Data Processor or technical partner. We only process or access client site data to perform requested technical setup, maintenance, backup, or related services under our specific agreements. We do not own, control, or determine the purposes or legal compliance of data collected on client websites.

If you are an end-user of one of our clients’ websites and wish to exercise a data request (access, deletion, correction, etc.), please direct that request to the client directly, as they are the Data Controller responsible for that data — not Tekrawab.

If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@tekrawab.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact & Project Request Data:
When you submit our concept preview request form, we collect your full name, email address, industry type, whether you currently have a website, your website URL (if applicable), logo file link and primary brand colors (if you do not yet have a website), your biggest frustration with your current setup, desired go-live timeframe, rough budget range, and any additional details you choose to share in the “Anything else we should know?” field.
  • Onboarding & Client Website Data:
During active projects, clients may also provide additional business information (such as phone numbers, service details, or team bios) to be displayed or integrated on their websites. We process this information strictly to deliver the agreed services.
  • Communications & Consent Logs:
Any messages or onboarding files you choose to share with us. When you submit forms, including consent checkboxes, your submission is recorded with a timestamp, which serves as a record of your consent. During project onboarding, you may also share access details such as hosting or CMS credentials if needed for project work.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device operating system, pages visited, duration, and referring URLs.
  • Analytics & Trackers: We use analytical tools, including Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit), to evaluate aggregate site performance, navigation patterns, and user experience.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Essential cookies are utilized to maintain basic site operations, forms processing, and security frameworks. Non-essential cookies (such as analytics or performance trackers) are managed in compliance with regional laws. For visitors in jurisdictions requiring opt-in consent (including the EU/EEA and UK), non-essential cookies will only load after you grant explicit authorization via our cookie consent interface. You may update or revoke these preferences at any time through our cookie consent interface or your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected on tekrawab.com solely to:

  • Respond to inquiries, process concept preview requests, and build custom project proposals.
  • Design, stage, build, and migrate the specialized digital systems requested by our clients.
  • Maintain, optimize, and monitor the performance, uptime, and general security of our Site.
  • Send transactional confirmations, operational updates, and occasional service marketing communications (strictly where you have granted affirmative opt-in consent or where permitted by applicable commercial regulations).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or proprietary brand assets to third parties for their independent marketing initiatives.

4. Third-Party Tools & Data Sharing

We share data only with third-party technical infrastructure providers and subprocessors strictly necessary to operate our agency services (such as cloud hosting, transactional email relays, active uptime monitors, automated cloud backup servers, and development staging environments). These providers process data solely on our written instructions, are restricted from using it for any alternative purpose, and are bound by confidentiality obligations. A full list of our current subprocessors is available upon request.

Legal Disclosures

We may disclose personal information if required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a public authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or security of Tekrawab, our users, or the public.

International Data Processing

As we serve international clients, data collected on tekrawab.com may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate data transfer safeguards with our infrastructure vendors for these transfers.

5. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods, based on how long each is actually needed:

  • Inquiry and lead data (contacts who do not become clients): retained for up to 12 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted unless you re-engage.
  • Active project and onboarding data: retained for the duration of your project, including any applicable post-launch warranty or active Care Plan period (see our Terms of Service).
  • Completed project files and assets (such as brand assets, credentials, and final deliverables): retained for up to 24 months after project completion — primarily to support ongoing maintenance, Care Plan services, or future re-engagement — after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.
  • Financial and invoicing records: retained for as long as required under applicable tax and accounting regulations, which may exceed the periods above.

You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time, subject to Section 7.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, physical, and technical security measures — including SSL encryption, firewall and malware protection, and regular off-site backups — to help protect your personal data and project specifications.

These measures are intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, but they do not eliminate all security risks. We review and update our safeguards from time to time as part of our normal site and service operations.

7. Your Data Rights & Regional Notices

Depending on your geographical location and applicable privacy frameworks (such as the EU/UK GDPR or US State Privacy Laws), you may hold specific rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request access to or copies of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request immediate correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Request complete deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to outstanding contractual or accounting requirements.
  • Object to or request the restriction of specific processing activities.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time where processing operations are based on your prior authorization.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (for EU/EEA/UK residents) if you believe your personal data has been mishandled.

California (CCPA/CPRA) Notice: We do not sell your personal information, nor do we “share” your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

To exercise any applicable rights, please contact us at hello@tekrawab.com. We aim to respond to GDPR requests within 30 days and CCPA requests within 45 days, as required by applicable law, and we reserve the right to request identity verification prior to fulfilling data requests.

8. Client Legal Responsibility & Third-Party Links

  • Client Site Legal Policies: For client deployments, our role is strictly technical and structural. Clients maintain sole legal responsibility for drafting, publishing, and maintaining their own user legal policies (including custom Privacy Policies and Terms of Service) and ensuring their operations comply with applicable privacy laws. While we deploy cookie consent banners, configure localized system architectures, and set up consent checkpoints as part of our package builds, our configurations do not constitute legal advice.
  • External Links: Our Site contains structural case studies or links to client websites. We hold no responsibility for the external content, functionality, or privacy practices maintained on third-party domains.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and automation systems are explicitly built for business professionals and are not directed toward or intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal details from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information from our systems without undue delay.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changing regulations or technical deployments. Any adjustments will be posted directly to this page with an updated “Last updated” date displayed at the top.
